Cheers Daddio! (3 min, Click Here)

Hey everyone!

I hope you had a great weekend celebrating your papa bear. My daddy is back home in Maryland while I’m in the fabulous Sunshine state… where it has been raining constantly! I wish I could have been home celebrating with him but he knows I would be if I could. Cameron’s dad was in town so we got to spoil him for the weekend. 😛
We started off with our new Saturday ritual – the Fort Pierce Farmer’s Market 🙂

We refilled our kambucha, Cameron got some fresh smoked salmon, I got a curry chia protein bar, and his dad (Lance Sr.) got a fruit smoothie. It was a toasty day outside to say the least so refreshing juices were much needed.

As some of you know, I get a new fruit each week and share it with you.  This week was a prickly pear. The man selling it told us they were the ultimate hangover prevention so… we’re currently making mixed drinks out of it haha! I’ll let you know how it turns out 😛 WE DON’T HAVE A PROBLEM!! We just enjoy tequila!

Sunday, Cameron did some yoga in the garage and I did ROMWOD (extensive stretching – my hips are tight and every time I do this it helps tremendously) and then we took Cam’s dad out to brunch at First Watch. If you haven’t been there, you need to go. Just google it and if you want to chat about your experience or thoughts before you go, we’d love that.
Side note, I was mad Cameron got a cold brew coffee before we left since we have coffee at home. Dude… that was some good cold brew. I’m going to buy a cold brew to go every time we eat there 😛

Andddddd we wound up not going home but found this winery about 20 minutes from our house that has music and wine tasting every Sunday. New ritual?! Possibly 🙂 It was nice to just sit down and listen to some good live music. Cameron and his dad both beat me at checkers – that was the worst part…

We just spent the day with Cameron’s dad so he know he’s appreciated and I made sure my dad knows how much we love him and appreciate him.

The day is all about thanking the dad in your life for everything they do for you. For those who may have lost that person too early, this day is remembering and honoring them.
Happy Father’s Day to all the dad’s out there. Just know you’re loved.
